What is the name of the sci-fi movie where everyone in a future civilization was killed after a certain age?
Its a movie from the 60's or 70's I think. Its an underground civilization where everyone is young. Some guys escape and meet an old man at the surface. Thats all I remember about this movie.|||Logan's Run|||It was Logan's Run. It was this weird, futuristic society. They basically tricked everyone into getting killed when they turned 30. A guy found out what was happening and escaped with a group of people. I remember the old man, too -- they were really fascinated w/ his wrinkles, because they never saw an old person before ;-) Wow, haven't seen that movie in ages!|||I believe you're talking about Logan's Run. At age 30, members of the human race go through something called 'carousel'. If they live through it, they can live longer. If they die during it, they die. They ALWAYS die. Anyone who tries to escape 'carousel' are hunted down by lawmen called 'Sandmen"|||I was thinking about Logan's run the other day, Ironic you should mention it now.

See this happened to me earlier this year, February to be exact. I met this man who came to my work looking for a beautiful necklace we featured on our catalog. Oh! he was very handsome, mature man, maybe in his late forties or early fifties. He was wearing a nice shirt and some nice looking seven jeans. When we first exchanged looks it's was like fireworks going off, anyways he turned out to be married and wanted just an affair, I shined him off. One of the ladies who work with me said that he was probably going through male menopause, that when a man reaches a certain age he wants to feel young and vibrant and that they can still get the woman. I am 34 years old single and attractive. It bothered me her comment because it's not like if I have written on my forehead "Affair".|||I think they call it "mid-life crisis". Is it a certain age group or all ages of men?|||Yeah, I'm near the beach though so, it's kind of standard for most ages.........................|||I live in Houston, TX and alot of guys wear flip flops, even during the winter, if they're considered sandals, but I'm from PHILLY and guys up there wouldn't be caught dead in sandals, neither would Bryan and he's from Atlanta.|||Kentucky, and a lot of guys here wear them in the summer. I live in a college town though, so its not unusual to see. A lot of older men wear sandals as well.|||yeah i see a lot of guys wearing sandals or flip flops (whatever you want to call them). I wear flip flops quite a bit. I grew up in Southern Cal so it was common to wear sandals. Now I live near Nashville and I see lots of guys all ages wearing flip flops|||I live in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and I see a lot of guys wearing sandals. I was going to a lot or garage sales yesterday, and I seen all kinds of guys wearing sandals, and most of them were wearing them with shorts. Also men of most ages wears sandals out here.|||I live in Central Texas near Austin and a lot of men wear flip flops. Older men tend to wear a dressier sandal if that makes sense.

Do official PGA qualifier tournaments really play through the rain?
I watch this show called Men of a Certain Age, and on one recent episode of the show, they had players playing in pouring rain (which was an important point for the plot). Obviously everything on tv shows isn't accurate though. I thought golfers don't play through rain officially, but I don't watch golf at all, so I'm not sure. Was the show accurate in having players playing in pouring rain, during a qualifiers tournament for the senior tour? Thanks|||yes unless the course get to wet and puddles start to form

-If there is lightning they will stop playing due to the safety issue.
-If the course becomes saturated to where there is standing water that can't be squeeged off, then they will stop playing.
Beyond that, they play in the rain.
With a waterproof jacket, an umbrella, and rain gloves, playing in the rain is doable.|||The previous answers are correct. If there is no lightning, and there are no puddles forming on the course (especially the greens) then play will continue.|||Unless there are huge free-standing puddles on the greens and/or lightning in the area, golf does not stop for rain. They usually let them lift, clean and place their shots on the fairways too.|||lightning is a sure game stopper. but yes if it becomes impossible to play, one is roster tail when putting.|||Golf was invented in Scotland and played all over the UK. You have to ask if they play in rain LOL?
