A few guys that I've dated in the past have embellished about their age. Since I seem to be younger than most of the men I date, they tend to say they're younger, but I end up finding out they're not. I don't care if the guy is older or younger(though I do have a certain age limit), I would just prefer you not to lie. Is this something that men just do? Is it insecurity?|||It's not insecurity. It's a calculated effort to get in your pants.|||I think they are afraid that you might not like them if they are too old so they lie.
My sister lied all the time about her age because of that.

You must be talking to pedophiles if they are saying they are younger then you lol|||I don't do it but if someone is preoccupied about other people's age I can see them being lied to a lot to fit into their little ideal world.|||Maybe it's because girls often think older men are "creepy" and have told them that, straight out.|||If you don't care if the guy is younger or older, why do have a certain age limit?
