I have friends with too many male sport celebrities pictures on their walls?

these guys are in their 30's, and there are pictures of all these athletic men on their walls.

George Carlin had a joke " when you are a child and collect baseball cards, they are of your heroes, or people who you want to grow to be like- after you are a certain age- they are just pictures of other MEN"... or something like that.

Is there a homo-erotic appeal to sports that some people do not realize exists?|||Are you trying to find out if they're gay so that you guys can hook up? Who cares?

Do you have a limit to how old?

Is there a certain age boundary that you won't cross when it comes to relationships/sex?

Not minors I'm talking aging women/men.

I kinda dig older women but only when they take good care of themselves and have hard work and eating right to thank instead of their surgeons.|||My husband doesn't like me to have relationships/sex with other men no matter what age ;-)

I think the biggest gap in age for me before I got married was 7 years older.

Oddly enough... I am 38 and get hit on by much younger men. It figures, now that I'm married hehehehee j/k|||cougar is the term your reaching for my friend, and i see no problem with a sexy 40 something for some NSA fun and possibly a relationship if she was more on my level personality wise

but normally i try to stay away from people over about 33 or so im only 20 so im in no rush to find my life partner, but that dosnt mean i wont have a good amount of fun along the way|||Yeah, for a relationship, nothing past 35, and for just sex, probably 60.|||yes...plz help me ppl =D http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||I like older men. How do I become a pro racer?

It's either called GT racing or Grand Touring Racing this is almost perfectly represented by the Gran Turismo video games. These types of races feature The BMW M3 GTR, BMW Mclaren types of cars there mostly german and japanese and famous tracks that these races are on are the Laguna Seca Raceway, Nurburgring, Le Mans track.

Is there a certain age I should be to start out training or racing?

How do I become a racer without having to start out with go karts or something thats not a car?

Am I required to have a special license or will they teach me and provide me with one?

I'm 16 with a reguler permit is it too late early or perfect timing to start any type of training out?

I'm attending High School is training going to interfear with my Monday-Friday's 5AM-3Pm school days? (These hours include bus rides and stuff so i'm not actually in the building this long)

Where in NC can I get training?Required weight? Height? Bench press? IQ? grades in school? College? Equipment?|||there isnt a required weight, height, or anything really. all kinds of safety equipment are required but will be in the rules. basically download a copy of the rules book and start studying.|||You know what playing game is just playing game...GT is made for rich people or people who can finance themselves it requires lots of money man

Why do some women see married/attached men as so much more attractive?

My boyfriend overhead a conversation between two of his co-workers. They were discussing a recently married man and one said "Wow, he's so much hotter now that he's married." The other agreed and added that she'd never thought of the guy as attractive before, but that married guys were "definitely sexier."

Obviously, this is only one example, but it seems like a fairly common behavior among women of a certain age (early to mid 20's, I'd say). What drives these women? Does it have something to do with the fact that there are more women than men and inherent competition? Or the fact that many women see men as commitment-shy, so a man who has shown that he will commit and provide for a family is somehow more attractive?

Something else that I've missed? Any thoughts?|||Alot of women in their 30s and 40s think this way. I think they like the challenge. Alot of these women seem to get off on a man choosing them over a women he pledged vows to. Some are jaded and like to prove that the man's relationship isn't that strong.|||Because another woman has found him attractive enough to marry, he's passed a lot of tests right off the bat.

And there's some jealousy at work, plus the spice of an illicit affair as an attraction.|||the thrill of the chase, a craving for something they know is not attainable (or should not be, anyway).|||Most 20 somethings I know are into bad guys. What could possibly be "badder" than hot, naughty sex with a married man? The whole forbidden fruit thing. |||Forbidden fruit, they want what they can't have. That's just human nature.|||idk but it is wrong.

Does anyone know the name of a certain Michael Jackson documentary...?

Firstly I'm not talking about the Martin Bashir one, "Living with Michael Jackson".

The one I am looking for was aired on UK TV roughly between 1-3 years ago, sorry I can't be more specific, my memory of it is hazy. I'm pretty sure it was made by a UK team, and if my memory serves me correctly the producer and narrator was a blond or mousey haired young to middle aged man.

I think it focused on the child abused allegations and it seemed to make a very strong case for the allegations being true. It may have followed one of the trials also.

I know I'm not presenting a lot of good data here but I'm hoping this may jog someones memory.

Thanks!|||The Michael Jackson Interview: The Footage You Were Never Meant to See

Is it a good thing when a certain persons spirit isn't connected with you?

I went to see a psychic today. I brought a very significant piece of jewelry with me. It is half of a "friends forever" charm necklace. The other half is buried with my best friend who passed 12 years ago. The psychic said that she didn't see any teenaged boy near me. See described a middle aged man instead. I told her about the charm, and she held it in her hands and got nothing. Does this mean that he has passed on to the other side for good, or does it mean that he is upset with me? I know this may sound silly, but this sort of thing means a lot to me.|||Psychics cannot always tell you what you want to hear. They can tell you what is around you. . . psychics get flashes of insight, they are not encyclopedias.

Your friend may have passed on to another plane of existence or been reborn. 12 years is a long time, and if he was still tied here after 12 years, I think that would not necessarily be good. It has to be a very strong tie to keep someone from moving forward on their journey. Keep your friend in your mind, but be happy for him that he is not still skulking around with no purpose.|||He may still have a slight connection with you so do not worry. It's probable that someone in his family needs him/that's not to say that if you truly needed him that he wouldn't aid you too. I think that he would, it's likely that this middle aged person is assigned to help you and give you needed comfort. No I do not believe that your friend is mad at you or ignoring you out spite. Or perhaps your friend has chosen to reincarnate.|||No silly he's not mad at you. Check out any of Sylvia Browns books. You will find so much information. She is for real.|||My late BF came back after 40 yrs to tell me my late husband had made it across.

My incident last March?

Hello,

I am a man of a certain age, and lets just say its been a while since me and my wife got busy... Last time was about 6 months ago and we had an incident.. any pointers on not to pee during sex?

I know this is akward but thanks :)|||Davis

The best suggestion I can give you is to call up a Urologist or Internist and get an appointment asap to check for physical reasons such as prostrate problems, etc. If you rule out physical reasons -- then consider working with a therapist that specializes in family counseling.

And one more thing -- you might consider re-posting this question in the Men's Health section for any additional suggestions.

I hope this information helps. Good Luck|||Nope, none.

After a certain age dont you realize that everything sucks and all you need is money?

We went to school some of us graduated and some of us did not but the fact is the economy sucks i don't want a loser job that pays 10 dollars an hour i don't want a boss im to smart for bosses and don't want some guy to say your not working out goodbye how can my rent or my lively hood be dependent on one man or women and yes their is unemployment but it ain't that simple. Don't you just wish you had celebrity money like 500,000 k then you life would be started most people done even retire and only the lucky few have secure jobs that pay 70 grand but most people are on thin ice just one dat away from being fired it all depends on what mood your boss is in. Maybe the criminals are the smart ones why work hard when you can steal it even though tahts wrong economy sucks I hate money its gay yes money is gay,|||money's only as "gay" as greed is universal

Don't you love the term *age appropriate?* Don't you think it's a term?

coined by bitter women "of a certain age" so they can justify ranting at men who would rather date young women instead of them, as if they guy is automatically doing something "inappropriate?"|||That's not what the term means. It has to do with what children should and should not be exposed to based on their age.|||I am a single woman who is almost 40 and i've never heard this term used with respect to any form of bitterness. I can't blame an older guy for wanting a young woman...especially for sex. I like older men anyway.

Are younger women more enthusiastic?

Hmmm well although it seems pervy a lot of men of mature age like younger women, like late teens or whatever. Because when women hit a certain age they become quite cynical, they take the small things in life really seriously, and they lose their shine ...

But young women in the flower of their youth are so pretty and exciting, there is a hint of 'danger' about them mixed with their innocence which is intoxicating in itself ... they assault our senses, we become intoxicated in their presence, every word and every giggle that comes from their mouths sends us into ecstasies.

It seems that younger women are less wrapped up in the small wearies of the world, and more interested in exploration, in GUYS ... they are so much more interesting.

Or am I just misguided in thinking so? :\|||That, btw is why the "cougar culture" likes younger men.

Same reason. All the fun and none of the baggage.

Remember that as you grow up. There will soon come a time when a girl is only with you because you can buy her things. NOT because she is your partner.|||your pretty much right and plus younger girls are typically sexier|||Younger women are more innocent and uncaring about important issues and the along with other things is probably what older men do fond attractive. However, a man of mature age needs to be mature and find some their own age to have a life with. Older women are focused on reality and they cant ever find a good man with the same goals because all the men their age are with little girls.

Do these boy names age well?

Do these boy names fit all ages (baby, child, teenager, grown man, elder)? Which ones do? Which ones don't? Which would be awkward at a certain age or point of age?

Also, please tell me what you think of them.

Thanks!|||Bennett, Dylan, and Derek would all be awkward elder names. Dylan and Derek are more like younger years, and grown man types. Bennett is just awkward at all times. Bennett is a last name, but Ben is a cute little kid name, but for grown man and elder, it would have to be Benjamin, not Bennett.|||All PERFECT %26amp; masculine names and good for all ages!|||All of those names can have nicknames that will fit them at all stages of life! If a man isn't married by 40 will he ever get married?

I dated a guy for several months who talked about our future, things we'd do this summer, etc. He is 40 and has never been married. He even said that he would like to have children soon when we talked about birth control, and I said I was considering an IUD. Suddenly he broke up with me. He said he loved me, but he would hate me if he continued our relationship. I was baffled. He said that as I grow as a person perhaps we can resume our relationship. Well, now he hates me, because I of course was hurt and called and texted him after our break up.

Once a man reaches a certain age is he just a confirmed bachelor? Could it be something else?|||Is there an age difference between the two of you? This is just confusing, did he ever tell you exactly why he said those things and explained further more? Also, have you ever asked why he has never been married or had children? When he said he wanted children soon did you disagree? I don't know him so I can only assume either he has issues which has caused all of his relationships to fail or maybe he has commitment problems. Good luck.|||If hes already made it to 40 without getting married, hes in the clear. If it aint broke, dont fix it. Smart man.

Is it true that younger men very seldomly take older women seriously?

Is it any age difference or a certain amount of age difference that matters? I'm in my late twenties and sometimes still find guys who are 1-5 years younger to be interesting. They often flirt with me, but I am also told that I look 21-22. Would a guy who is initially attracted lose interest once he finds out my age just because I'm older?|||I wouldnt really consider you "older". Your not exactly 35 or 40...just late twenties...whoopdido.

Although, alot of guys that are in their early twenties are probably still getting drunk with their buddies and doing keg stands....they probably assume that you are past that point in your life, and probably dont think you would put out as easy as a girl thats thier own age....|||some men like it.

Men in their 30's: Do you still get crushes on women?

I am very curious if men get crushes on women still when they're in their early 30's.

Questions:

1. Do men of this age get 'butterfly feelings' around certain women that they dig?

2. Do they think about the women they like a lot?

3. Do they become nervous around a woman that they like?

4. Do they worry that they'll say something stupid around the woman of their desire?

5. Is there ever one specific woman that thay have a crush on?|||1. Yes

4.Yes

Why do older/foreign men always hit on me? ?

I'm 22 years old, but for some reason, whenever I go out with my friends, I ALWAYS get hit on by older men or foreign guys (like 40 years old and above)!!! I don't dress risque nor do I cake on make up or anything like that. I'm tall and blonde so maybe that has something to do with it? I have a little extra meat on my bones, I'm not fat but not a size zero either. I don't get it. I once had one guy hit on me and he said he thought I was 27, but he thought all my friends around me were 22. I don't feel like I look 27 and most people I ask that don't think I do either. So the real question is: Are there certain qualities that older (40 and above) men look for in girls? Because if I'm exuding any of them I would like to stop so men my own age will hit on me. |||You probably look sophisticated because you are tall and blonde. Just being blonde is very attractive to most men and then throw in tall and they are hooked. I doubt that you are doing anything wrong. Just make sure you aren't unconsciously flirting with them by smiling and eye contact.|||They have been around for so long that they know how to "play the game". Nothing against you, I'm sure you are beautiful, but the older, foreign men just want a piece. They are perverts.

Question for the men, of different ages.?

What is it that you look for in a woman? I hear older men talking about how look's arent as important, and I hear younger men talking about how they are.

My fiance says a pretty face is important, and of course you have to be somewhat attracted to the girl, but do you really think women should look a certain way? would you date an overwieght or overthin girl?

also what age group are you in? Just curious about if men change as they get older.|||For me , a girl is attractive if she has a great personality and a sense of humor. Physical good looks, like the face and body, fall second to those attributes. If I can have an engaging and intelligent conversation with a woman that can also make me laugh, she's definitely a keeper. By the way, i'm 18.|||Yes, and it's biological.

At a young age, men are looking for a mate to carry their genes to the next generation. Looks count for the mating part, but since we are thinking human beings now, we also need someone with personality.

As men get older, the need to pass on genes becomes less important, and companionship and deep love are more important. Mature men, while still liking "eye candy" can spot personality faster, and are more appreciative of that, than looks.|||Age does give us perspective. Younger guys have not experienced the charm and inner beauty of a wide range of women, so many of them overlook a perfect gem whose body might be "overweight" or "over thin". We get older and discover what's really important in life...a true companion, inner beauty, and a bright outlook on life. Some guys will be shallow dogs all their lives looking for a trophy only all their lives, but they are not the norm.

I guess we get wiser with time.

I'm 38.

If it were possible, what age would you like to be all over again?

Men and women mostly, lie about their age or ashamed to tell it. Why, I don't know and its dumb. I felt age 25 never left me and I'm only 33. However there are people feel like at a certain age they have made a mistake at and would like to start over again, to make an impact on their life. Which, folks thats not possible because, you know who is control of your life. Let's talk about it. One Love.|||im 25 too, and i wouldnt like to go back, i never had a rich childhood,i had too much trouble and poverty in my family, i had to struggle so much, and right now im doing quite well and i wouldnt go back to where i was, may be at 20 or 18.|||I would love to do my teen years all over. My mom and I had it rough. Constant lying to her. Since I have "grown up" we have been getting along like best friends.|||I think about this all the time. I will be 33 years old. If we are talking about living forever, I'd say early twenties. College years, everything you do is legal, you are still pretty young. However, for a day...I'd be 7 or 8. Very young, all your loved ones (mine at least) still with me and in good health, everything is so innocent - just great to be a kid again!|||13

What is the law in England regarding older women/men being intimant with much younger people? Statutory rape?

I'm just curious what the laws are there. Here in the US we've had a couple of cases where teachers in their 20s have had relations with boys 15, 16, etc. and have been arrested and sent to jail, even though it was consensual. This is vice versa also, older men with young women under a certain age.

I know this is way after the fact and probably was not public at the time so nothing can be done now but I read an article in a magazine, not a rag mag either, that Daniel Radcliff stated he lost his virginity at age 16 with a much older woman on set. Everyone was "guessing" that it was a make up artist, and they named her and printed her photo, who was 23 or so at the time.

If this was public knowledge at the time, could she have been arrested?|||No, she couldn't have been arrested. In England, and the whole of Britain, you can legally have sex at 16.

Since they were both 16 or older, it is not illegal. If she was in a position of trust, such as a doctor, teacher, or carer then it would have been illegal to have sex with someone under the age of 18. She wasn't in that position, so it's not against the law, therefore she couldn't be arrested for it.

|||Sasha is right.

The age of consent in the UK is 16 - and it wouldn't matter if their partner was 23 - or 33, 43, 53 etc.

A Question for Gay Men Over 30 (if any exist here).?

Why do some gay men when they get to a certain age (usually over 30, or so). Ignore the qualities in an individual and foam at the mouth for some vapid, plastic party kid? What about those of us who are just average guys? Why are we being summarily dismissed because we aren't pretty enough, or totally smooth, or (and I HATE this word...) "cute"?

Some men I have noticed border upon Pederasty. It is positively disgusting to observe. Any insight, please?|||Im 34 and my partner is 36. We have been together 12 years. I know exactly what you mean. I have no idea what it means. Unless you get a second wind for sex AND getting to be mid 30's is kinda new and scary maybe.. like 50 is only 15 years away!!! it just seems like yesterday we were teen twinks... lol. SO i THINK being around twinks makes ppl feel young!|||Eye candy...hello, after you reach a certain age, you want to see if you can still attract someone younger and better looking...I am not saying it is right, but that is the way it is at first...then if there is no substance, that is when they realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.|||I'm sixty-seven and I don't do that. A certain Japanese song?

I am looking for this song which I found very calming and nice. Unfortunately I don't know the lyrics, the singer, the name, practically nothing at all

These are some characteristics that I can still remember:

1) It used to be on youtube accompanied with video of Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid

2) The singer is probably middle aged man (from his voice)

3) I'm pretty sure this song is somehow about summer

4) I'm certain there's the word 'Hanabi' (meaning fireworks) in the song

5) The song is slow, without drums

I know it's pretty much vague, but still if you think you know, share it with me. Thank you very much|||Was the singer Gackt? He's a middle aged man who is a very popular singer in Japan. Also, some of his songs are accompanied with Miku because his voice was used to make the vocaloid Gackupo.

When Do Men Stop Having Crushes, Infatuation?

I'm a 33-year old male, single. Recently, I've been spending time with a co-worker who I recognize as a type that I'd develop a crush on or an infatuation with, especially in my high school days. She's really sweet, kind and seemingly unaware of her beauty.

Because of my track record with these type of girls, I'm hesitant to ask her out on a real date (I can just imagine that familiar deer-in-the-headlights look of confusion or awkardness). Given my age and life experiences, I would think that most men would mature past these type of infatuations.

Do most men still have a capacity to develop a crush on someone into their 30's? In their 40's? When does it leave men? I would think at a certain age, you lose it by way of maturity or something.|||The heart never grows old you can have crushes at any age... Love is timeless... This is why it's such a powerful and wondrous thing to behold.

What is it like to live a sexually liberated life style? to have multiple lovers or a series of monog. rel.?

I have only been with one man all my life. After a certain age I started wondering what other life styles are like. I am genuinely interested in sharing thoughts and feelings on this subject. I especially want to hear from women who have lived this life style. Was it a good experience? how did men treat you? did you find what you were looking for? Any regrets?|||Well. I was pretty promiscuous off and on over the years. To be honest, I wish I could go back in time and undo all the that. Even in today's modern society, women still end up with bad reputations. Even when I would go for long periods of time of "behaving myself," people still knew about my past, and I really had a hard time finding who wasn't just out to use me.

One time, I was raped and the procsecuting attorney talked m into dropping the case, because he knew I coukdn't win the case because of my "lifestyle." And honestly, once you've lived that kind of lifestyle, it is very difficult to find a decent guy, because they don't want a woman who was like that. I was a married twice, but both guys were jerks who couldn't get anyone else.

Keep up the good work.|||I'm enjoying that lifestyle now and i have to say im very pleased. the men have to treat you well...just because they dont want girlfriends doesnt mean they're assholes. i dont want a boyfriend and im not a ***** ;) the only thing im looking for is to have a good time while i can. i'm not trashy by any means, and im completely healthy. no regrets.|||its fun but meaningless its just not special like i have had many partners but ive only ever loved one girl fortunatly i got a second chance and were getting married shortly

How does acne generate free radicals ? ?

This question is inspired by my previous question about whether acne is apparent in women after menopause and men after a certain age, and one of the best answers mentioned something about free radicals and the cause of acne. Despite that none of the answers really answered my question, however i found this one interesting and did a bit of research. On one of the websites, it mentioned that it is acne which causes free radical ( the opposite of what the answerer told me . haha ) , so now I would like to know how does acne cause free radical . I couldn't find information about that.

Just for those who don't recall what free radicals are. The article mentioned them as elements that contains unpaired electron.

thanks for answering my question in advance.|||Acne is not the cause of free radicals. It involves inflammation, which increases free radicals locally, but there are a lot of other sources of these species.

Do you like Paris Hilton's sex tape?

The excerpts I've seen I like. She is very pretty so that's the main reason it is good. I'm not sure why you would tape yourself having sex, but she has a great body, and I don't think she should feel bad about the tape. How could one not like seeing it. It's kind of a cultural moment. Most men under a certain age look at porn. I haven't talked with men about it, but I can't think of any pretty celebrity ever having a sex tape. Maybe Pamela Anderson had a sex tape. I don't know why but I'm not interested in Pamela Anderson's body. Also the bath tape of Paris is good. It's like a dream come true to see a pretty celebrity taking a bath. I wish Brooke Shields would have shown us more of her body when she was younger. She looked incredible from 18-27 years.|||YES! She is sexy! But I wish it wasnt so soft core.

If you want adventures or just an evasion of everyday life, you probably won't like it. The director is the same guy that made "The Wire", and the vibe is similar. Not much of happily ever after moments.

Myself, I think it is one of the best series HBO has at the moment. Both seasons were terrific.

POLL: Basic cable (FX, AMC) or pay cable (HBO, Showtime) programming?

I know that since FX aired "The Shield" in 2002, censorship on cable networks such as AMC, TNT, and FX have been significantly lessened. Shows such as "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "Justified', "Archer", "Men of a Certain Age", "Southland", "Breaking Bad", "Mad Men" and "The Walking Dead" have all been given the same leniency with language allowing the casual swears "****", "asshole", and "goddamn" to be uncensored. In addition nudity such as side-boob and bare butts have been aired. Violence is also been allowed to be much more grisly (especially with "The Walking Dead").

Where am I going with this? Basically what I am going to ask is that does the little restrictions of no F-bombs and no graphic nudity in all of these wonderful shows make them strangely classier and more enjoyable than the blunt realism of HBO and Showtime, both of which also have very enjoyable programming such as "Boardwalk Empire" and the late "Sopranos" and the current "Dexter" and "Californication".

Let me know what you think!|||As far as It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia goes, with profanity sprinkled all over the dialogue, it seems weird to me to leave out the f-word. They got to leave it on their Christmas special since it wasn't aired on television and it wasn't strange to hear them say it. With the f-word being the only word they can't say on the show, it's kind of weird. That said, I appreciate television censored. I'm glad they aren't cursing non-stop on network television...yet. They're getting there. I also appreciate that shows like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia are uncensored to a degree. Who knows what it would be like if they had agreed to be on network television. But I'm glad they aren't showing full-penetration on basic cable shows.

Recommend a good TV Series to watch!?

I'm currently looking for a new series to watch. It doesn't have to 'brand new'. It can be an old series which has been completed already.

To let you guys know what kind of shows I'm into, here's a list of my favorite shows (past and current):

Should a person be forbidden from holding public office after his nose changes?

A lot of men, after a certain age, go through a nose change. The shape assumes a life of its own, giant pores appear on the surface, they begin spending a lot of their discretionary incomes on the latest nostril trimmers.

But these are only symptoms. The nose is the outward manifestion of something happening inside the mind, something outside being pushed outward by a personality. Something turning sometimes ugly and sinister.

Men who'd gone through the nose turning were the cause of countless problems for this country. They're a lot of why we're where we are today.

Why do some single people let themselves go at a certain age?

I noticed with men and women alike, that often after a while usually around the late tweenties or so, many single men and women alike, who have no children(because its excusable if the woman has children considering most of them gain allot of weight after pregnacy, so ther is no ligit excuse for a man) let themselves go and become obese, wouldnt being single without any children to have obligations to be motivation enough for one to keep themselves up and as good looking as they can be?|||some people just give up, or truely just aren't looking for love as an obligation to make themselves happy, and are quite comfortable with their bodies no matter what size. also, their metabolisms might be changing around this age, so if they don't change their habits, then it can affect them more than it did before.|||maybe they have given up on love happening so they eat for comfort instead. maybe it's all those dinner dates that are causing them to gain weight.|||their motabolism is slowing down and post pardom depression could be another factor|||Well let me correct you on something!!

GUYS-what is it about men that makes them NOT want to be commited?

Why is it that guys don't want to commit to a relationship? Don't they reach a certain age and realize that they know what it is all about...meeting alot of women, sleeping with some of them, and going to the next. Can't guys appreciate a good woman? Or is it some kind of fear that women can't understand?|||Ok, here's how it is. Teenage boys want a relationship. Teenage girls don't, they just want to "hook up". Then later on, it changes, guys want to just "hook up". Women just want a relationship.|||this was taught to me at 13 from my older sister i think its dead on,

when you reach the age of dating girls are usually very in and out with there feelings and are constantly changing how they feel about the guys they date while guys tend to actually fall head over at that age, so as time goes on guys get tired of the games and just buy into the style you described

Right age to get married?

Hi, I'm male, 24 years old. I have done my bachelors and looking for a job. I want to plan my next few years as they are crucial. I have a few questions about marriage.

I plan to get married at around 35. Is that too old?

Also, I have heard that its difficult for a woman to get pregnant( conceive?) at a certain age. What age is that age? Is that the reason why the woman is always (well mostly) younger than the man?

I have also heard that the male sperm quality starts to deteriorate after a certain age and its difficult for him to get the woman pregnant. What age is that?

What is the best age (for both man and woman) to be able to have a baby? By best age, I mean the optimal age, the age at which the body has the highest probablity of getting the woman pregnant?

Regards,|||No, 35 is not too old to get married. For females, however, that starts to be a more challenging age to conceive and get pregnant. As for the reason why the woman is typically younger than the man, who knows? Generally speaking women are probably best able to conceive and get pregnant in their mid 20s to early 30s. Theoretically they'd also be more mature and better able to handle the responsibilitis of children. As far as sperm vitality, some men impregnate women in their 70s, so I don't think that's an issue. However, each individual is different so what works for some will not work for all.|||Well women start to go through menopause between the ages of 40 and 45. I would say don't wait too long. But wait until you have a stable job and place to live.|||Never

Who is more loyal in a relationship, men or women?

I have had a very bad experience with my ex, we dated for 6years and she basically left me because I stuck to our plan of getting married at 30. I was jerk at times(broke up with her a couple times), never cheated, and when I fell on rough times she up and dipped when we were 27. I now feel that most women get marriage desperate at a certain age. what do you think.|||well it really depends on who cares more about the relationship to determine who is the most loyal. the one who cares the most, and wants the most for it to work out with most likely be the more loyal one because they dont want to do anything to hurt the other person, and care too much to go off and cheat on them, or dump them for random reasons or because they want to get married and you dont. if they really loved you, they would wait. but like i said, the one who is more into the relationship is generally more loyal to the other, and that is not gender specific.|||Yes, what I noticed is that it is common for a woman to be married on her early 20s. Its more normal for a guy to get married late. She probably didn't want to postpone anything. She's counting her age... Its not about being loyal...(I don't think so)

Question about erections?

i know that when men reach a certain age, that there erections are not as strong as they are when they are young. well, is there a way to prevent this? will staying active and eating healthy slow down the process of impotence? i want to have erections for the rest of my life. any answers?|||well i happen to be an erectial disfunction professional. when you reach the age of 22 you will not be able to keep it up--im sorry for this devastating news but thats just how it works. so enjoy this last year while you still can. lol ;-)|||What happens more often than not is as guys get older sometimes medication can have an effect on lasting erections. For instance- most antidepressants and blood thinners cause erectile dysfunction. many people who are prone to diabetes causing lack of blood circulation is another. So of course its important to eat healthy whether you're 21 or 51. Sometimes it's just genetics. |||It's inevitable, and it's part of life.

There is nothing you can do about it, but why would you want to? Have you seen an old man who dyes his hair black? Ridiculous.

Just allow yourself to age and you'll be happier. |||Don't lift weights alot. Exercise, eat healthy foods....pretty much eat like a girl. Are there any countries willing to accept South Africans over the age of 50 to live and work?

If anyone knows of any older South Africans that have managed to emigrate to another country (under similar circumstances), then I would be grateful to hear from you.|||Thailand, Australia and the Philippines.

Why would a man lie about his age?

My boss turned 55 today, so i wished him happy 55th birthday! I know he is 55 cuz I am his secretary and I manage his tax returns, medical records, etc. Instead of saying thanks, he gave me this whole speech about how his parents from Italy changed his "real" bday from 1963 to 1956 so he could be old enough to inherit their property, and that he is actually only 48. When he came to this country (USA), he posted 1956 bday on his official records, thus i see 1956 on his tax returns.

*rolls eyes* How stupid does he think i am. Is that "inheritance" story even possible? Do u have to be a certain age to inherit land? Why would a man lie about his age?|||Men and women both lie about how old they are. You'll never know why your boss lied about this unless you ask him point blank. We have no more details about his situation that you do. Sorry.|||Like women men can lie for any reason that gives them an advantage. The first time I met my husband he lied about his age. He told me he was 23 after he learned that I was 19. Months later when I was glancing at his driver's license and realized that the dated didn't match up he fessed up; he was actually 27.|||Lol seems like a lot of men around 50 do that, something about that 50 mark bothers them.. It's funny though, their taste in music too is always a give away... hmmmm ur 39 and you love obscure motown music interesting.. sure you aren't 50?????????|||Men and women lie about their age because some people are sensitive about it. If it makes him feel better to say he is really 48 so be it.|||He's lying because he was hoping that you two can hook up in the future.|||I really can't imagine why a man would lie about his age. Do you think Breaking Bad is so very overrated?

I don't get this show has high ratings. the story is all about some teacher and meth. Mix with the Wire and Weeds. that's it.

No originality. I hate the writing. And it's boring.

Same goes to Broadwalk Empire. It is the same as the Sporanoes which I hate also.

Anyway, TV is producing these silly action pack shows that many guys like or similar to the Wire. It make me sick.

Do you agree?|||No i completely disagree.

Breaking bad is not just about the drugs - it is about a husband + father that are afraid that they will die of cancer and leave his family with nothing. He is selling drugs as a last effort to make money.

Broadwalk empire - i understand what you mean about being like the sopranos but i think this is a very good drama Broad walk has a lot of different issues and little stories its nail biting good.

House was rubbish - What on earth is Hugh Laurie doing! He is embarrassing. Who is is trying to fool with that rubbish American twinge he puts in his voice "Go back to Blackadder Hugh!!"|||Nope. The Sopranos was the best drama ever. Breaking Bad is the best show on now (Dexter is better) Wire was fine the first few seasons, then the charm wore off, same with Weeds, which now is not very good. Men of a Certain Age was very good, I agree, but Ray Romano was the weak link in that show.|||I disagree. The shows you list, you have to watch them from the beginning and pay attention.

Statistics: Confidence intervas and sample size?

A researcher wants to estimate a population mean (of serum cholesterol level of a certain population of middle-aged men) to within +/- 6mg/dLi or less with a 95% confidence. The standard error of the mean should be 3mg/dLi or less. Also, the resaecher believes the standard deviation of serum cholesterol in the population is probably about 40mg/dLi. How large a sample does the researcher need to take?

And explanation would be pretty helpful along with an answer.|||ANSWER: Sample Size = 171 for 95% level of confidence

Why???

SMALL SAMPLE, LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE, NORMAL POPULATION DISTRIBUTION

Margin of Error (half of confidence interval) = 6

The margin of error is defined as the "radius" (or half the width) of a confidence interval for a particular statistic.

Level of Confidence = 95

蟽: population standard deviation = 40

('z critical value') from Look-up Table for 95% = 1.96

The Look-up in the Table for the Standard Normal Distribution utilizes the Table's cummulative 'area' feature. The Table shows positve and negative values of ('z critical') but since the Standard Normal Distribution is symmetric, the magnitude of ('z critical') is important.

For a Level of Confidence = 95% the corresponding LEFT 'area' = 0.475. And due to Table's symmetric nature, the corresponding RIGHT 'area' = 0.475 The ('z critical') value Look-up is 1.96 which means the MIDDLE 'area' = SUM[LEFT 'area' + RIGHT 'area'] for a Level of Confidence = 95.

significant digits = 3

Margin of Error = ('z critical value') * 蟽/SQRT(n)

n = Sample Size

Algebraic solution for n:

n = [('z critical value') * 蟽/Margin of Error]虏

= [ (1.96 * 40)/6 ]虏

Sample Size = 171 for 95% level of confidence

At a certain age, is it normal to yearn for sex?

I'm a devout Catholic female and still single and 25. I never had these animalistic feelings before, but lately, it seems like I get turned on easily. And I find like my body wants to get close to a man. I can't even sleep at night once in a while unless I take off my clothes and imagine I'm with a man. Is this normal? Or is my sex drive way too out of whack? Is my body telling me I need a man and make babies now or what? Are any other women out there experiencing this? Socially, I don't feel like I want to get married or have kids at this time, but this sexual drive is driving me nuts.|||Your body isn't out of whack. Mine did the same thing- and I felt so weird I looked into it too. The typical age for females to sexually peak is their early 30's, but it really varies. I am not Catholic, and don't have those concerns, so I found myself a wonderful boyfriend, and am now enjoying sex on a very regular basis. If you are not ready to settle down or compromise your religious beliefs, you should at least know that your feelings are normal and human, and that when you are ready to settle down, things will be great for you.|||r u sure u wnt 2 be a catholic wotsit... i respect u 4 it n everything but your missing out on sex .. yes its noormal everyone wants sex

Is it okay at a certain age NOT to know where you're going or work?

I'm 26, and even though I finished school/college and had a string of crappy jobs, and already settled down (with a guy), and don't really NEED to make ends meet, I feel like a total loser. I haven't found my path or career, and I'm not happy about it. I feel like by my age or 30 at the very latest, if I haven't found my calling, that it's too late, and that I never will, or at least I'll look REALLY bad to the general public.

I'm sorry but, our society places SO much importance on success and all that bs, and I'm obviously not.

I especially hate it when I have to answer to people when they ask me what I do where I work and I just say nothing, I'm at home, don't know what I'm going to do yet, and they just go "oh."

It's expected of us, especially men, to work and be useful, and

I feel like the party kid that never grew up.

And when you're my age, it's not cute anymore lol.

It's easy to just "get a job," but not one you really like.

I refuse to do something I hate.|||I never found a job I liked. So I have taken long periods of time off between crappy jobs. During this time off, I have found what I truly believe that I want to do and I'm going back to college to do it. I'm older than you, so it's never too late.

I hate it when people ask those questions. I always want to say "None of your business". You could say " I'm in-between jobs" And of course the in-between time could last indefinitely. Ask yourself what you really want to do and when you want to do it. And realize that other people are just nosy and you are the one that actually has to live your life.

Why don't the guys my age at church like me?

I quit the program to become a pastor and moved back home. My family and I have started going back to my home congregation. I was away for quite awhile because of military and school. There's a group of men my age who hang out together, usher, and talk; however when I come around they shut me out and stare at me when I talk to them just waiting for me to finish talking so they can walk away. I can tell they don't like me but I'm not certain as to why. I wonder sometimes if I'm more attractive than the average guy that goes to church and if their wives were interested in me before they got married. I know that sounds conceited but it's possible and I have to say these guys aren't lookers. I continue to be nice to them no matter how bad they treat me so you can't say they know I feel that way. Is it an alpha male thing? If so why are they cool with each other?|||because jesus freaks are prudes. Sorry, but Im being honest|||Put simply, religious people think irrationally, so why shouldn't they also behave irrationally. Nothing they do or say makes any sense. To give up the wild life and thrill of the chase and settle down. At the end of the day if you want a family we all want someone with a sense of responsibility and that can behave and be a good role model.

Hopefully we will all end up with nice consistent and responsible men with a wild streak that they let out in the bedroom LOL|||It depends on the woman. Some stay till they die. Generally I would say about 30 for most women, but if she can't see how good you are look somewhere else, maybe shes not the one for you.|||I dont believe they is an age for that everyone is different... I for one have never liked the "bad boys" they are usually to selfish and uncaring to be of any intrest and im 17 so like i said its different for everyone.... i think though most girls i know my friends and i anyway look 4 someone caring that wont walk all over us and our feelings

Old movie with old people being outcast.?

I am trying to remember the name of a movie in which people are ejected from society after a certain age. A man is on the run because he just became of age. There is also a reference to Sagittarius or Capricorn or something. I am bleak on details but hopefully someone can help.|||It sounds like you're referring to "Logan's Run" with Michael York and Jenny Agutter.

It's a futuristic movie where the end of life is set at 30. At that age people either accept their fate and attend "carousel" where they believe they are being renewed but are actually terminated, or they can run. These people are called "runners". Logan is a police officer called a "Sandman", whose job is to capture and/or terminate runners.

I really enjoyed the movie.|||Logans Run|||Logan's Run

Can someone explain the men's gymnastics Junior Olympic Program?

How do the junior olympics work? If you're at a certain age do u start at a certain level? I've tried researching to figure it out but it just confuses me more. One website said guys always start at level one, and progress each year, but that seems kind of weird because what if you're better than level one? Can someone explain exactly how everything works? Thanks.|||competition starts at like level 4... you dont wait a year to move up... you move up when you learn the skills for the next level. No generally it is not by age...

Is there any movie about a woman (or women) of a certain age who still lives with her parents?

I'm teaching a class, and I need a movie (or video, or fragment of a movie) about a woman in her thirties or forties who still lives at home with her parents, similar to "Failure to Launch" but with women, not men.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!|||My Big Fat Greek Wedding..I believe this fits. Hilarious too.

Is anyone a middle aged man or over 50 with camera???!?

I need someone about over 50 or middle aged to take a certain type of picture for me, holding up a sign. Its really important, if someone can do it please please help me, if you can I thank you.|||Whatever dude, 50 is the new 30 and hardly middle aged. In the new TNT series Men Of A Certain Age, a song plays at the beginging and the very end. Please name the artist and song. It is older song about changes.|||I think the song you are thinking of is "Reflections of My Life" by The Marmalade.

What is the perfect age difference?

i've heard that there should be a gap between the age of who you should date. personally i like older men and i'm 16. my mum and dad have been married for 20 years and they have a 2 year age difference and they said it works well (my dad is the older one) also.. is it true that girls are more mature at a certain age e.g- a 16 year old would go for a 19 year old?|||This would be a person by person thing. Love you.|||well u may feel matured now but when u r older u will realize what little u know of the world after u travel work and study. i think age gaps depend on respect and of course maturity, but respect more so like the 3 year gap u spoke of is not bad at all if the guy over 21 yes that would be a problem. As u have a right to your childhood so should u have a right to grow and experience your teenage years with teenage experiences. men who date girls old enough to be their daughters have no respect and do so because it bears an element of control (one can control children) so watch out for this when ur older please:) hope this helps|||My parents have been married for 29 years now and they're 4 years apart (my dad being older). It depends on the couple. I'm 23 years old, but I'd be more willing to date a 27 year old than a 19 year old (to be honest). Everyone's different when it comes to age and maturity because you have other factors that mature a person, but some people really do "act" their age...|||it depends on the couple. everyone is different, some are more mature than others. but i dont think maturity is something you can really measure. most guys prefer to be a little bit older than their partner.|||I usually think about 2 - 6 years age diffence. My step - dad has been more of a dad to me then my real dad. He's 12 years older then my mom.

The age gap between my mom and dad was 1 year.

Do women expect a certain kind of behaviour from certain men?

I ask this question because women seem to focus on me a lot. I still can't figure out why. I see myself as just another "dude" in the mix, just a regular "joe" who isn't special at all. I honestly don't think I'm good-looking at all neither, just an average appearance. However women talk about me whereever I go like I am supposed to do something. Like hit on every single woman I see or something lol. They seem to almost be somewhat offended that I am being a person just minding my own business. So they Keep saying negative things about me and making comments about me being conceited and so forth - but I am far from being conceited. Like I said, I'm no ladies man or nothing %26amp; I honestly do think I am actually kind of ugly, but women - of ALL ages and color - %26amp; just people in general seem to be nearly obssessed with talking against me. I try to be a polite person, it fails. What's the problem? Can anyone enlighten me please? Maybe cause I'm a "different" kind of black guy?|||just be yourself why do care what they say.nice people will always be there to be your friends, you just have to look harder.|||U prob are the envy of most men..but that means nothing.I would say,as a woman,be yourself,be cool, you obv are,why fixx what aint broken..and you will meet the girl.Until then,be a man,be respectful of your magnetism and chill. The boys are jealous..yeah?Oh yeah your skin colour?Well I feel that's your hangup and no one bar you can make it go away.I jus t wassted a load of letters telling you **** aout your colour?Trust me..no one cares|||Yes.

In Personals, is there a way to block ALL users who meet a specific criteria? (ex: all smokers)?

What I mean is, I get a lot of views and messages from members who meet certain criteria that I definitely DON'T want. So is there a way to block a whole category of users from viewing or contacting me so that I don't have to deal with each and every one of them and don't have to block each individually? (such as: block all smokers, block all men who are still married, block all men under a certain age)|||The simple answer, is no. Anyone can create incorrect profiles and descriptions from which you'd expect to be correct. Never believe any profile you see or get because it might not be true. So even if there would be an option, it would never work to your advantage. Anyone can take advantage of this kind of thing, and you'd never know if you're getting users that meet your "specific criteria".|||lol no but i wish|||ya

Wat happened to the social taboo - younger men?

that girls should only date men their age or older

these days there are a number of girls going out with younger dudes, which i think is atrocious. last time i checked, the MAN is the one who should take care of the woman. if the man is YOUNGER, then he is probably not capable of certain responsibilities, like protecting his girl from harm and whatnot. an older guy can just beat him up and steal the girl. what are u people thoughts on this?|||An older guy isn't stronger. He isn't more financially successful. I know many a 13 year old boy that could easily beat up a 20 year old. There's nothing in age except for a number. Why don't you stop being so pigheaded and realize that girls are looking for personality, not the NASTY stereotype of being protected. WE'RE NOT FRIKKIN DAMSELS IN DISTRESS IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, so why don't get get out of your chauvanistic viewpoint and realize that you're supposed to provide emotional support for women, not an entire LIFE.|||hehe, what u said was like blah blah blah blah.....

I only date younger guys.... (which might be a problem as I get older).... but I get hurt less by them and they are sweeter.... they can protect me just as well.... and well, I plan on staying with they guy I'm with at the moment forever and he's 3 years younger ^_^

so BLAH..!

some people are so wrong about girls dating younger guys :P

What realy turns men in there 40's on? Im a blonde..5 '4 weighing 134 .I know my man still has the hots for me

I know my man is madly in love with me dont get me wrong...But I want to know what realy gets men going @ that age?And why are they into the young thangs??!! 5'4", 134 lbs blonde women!

Not to get too graphic here (are the kids asleep yet?) but as I've gotten older it's become about more than just knockin' one out. Seems like a little adventure is in order these days. A little risk of getting caught. Unusual places (meaning locations ya pervs!). Sure I'll protest a little, just to keep up appearances but that's what does it for me. Sometimes an out of the ordinary time is a nice surprise. You know an unexpected quickie at noon. I guess what I'm basically saying is mix it up a little. Don't fall into a predictable routine. Again that's just me.|||Why do you buy new shoes or a new car? its becuase people enjoy things that arent old and well worn. Yes they have sentimental value, but for pure superficial aesthetics, most 40 year old women cannot hold a candle to one in her 20's. Just be happy he still is madly in love with you and dont question it, there is no reason to waste your time worrying about something that you say is not a factor in your relationship

Military Service in South Korea?

I'm not too into South Korean entertainment and such, but since I have been a little, I've seen some stars from various dramas and musical groups that have gone or are planning to go into the military. I'm kind of curious: Is military service a mandatory thing for men of a certain age? Or is it just something that is expected of a young man in South Korea?|||2 years after they turn 18 is required|||it is mandatory. for 99.99% of people. some people like worldcup MVP dont hav to go

or like if there's world wide sporting event, and someone does like crazy good on it, they might say you dont have to do it or whatever, but

after you turn 18, they tell you to come, but you can also delay it if you have special reason, such as if you are in college, and if you want to finish college before you go to army.

they spend 2 years and 2 months.

but it's not really big of a deal, and most of people says that's when you become a true man? lol

cuz life there is really tough.

i heard someone saying all you learn from there is smoking lol|||The 2 years is active duty.

When I was in Korea, all the males under 35 had to belong to the area defense.

Do men, of all ages look at all women in passing, or only "certain body types or ?

it really does not matter in the slightest?

I am curious..because I get looks a LOT..and I gained weight..and I think that I don't look skinny enough to be looked at..but, I have been lately told that I do look good enough! I put on about 60 or more lbs for my weight frame..and I get told that I look good..just what guys like as in "a little meat on the bones!" LOL!

(I always assumed that men would prefer the more svelte types..because they are pretty!) AM I wrong here?

Thanks! LOL!|||I know what Im going to say may sound whacked, but here goes,

I like looking at all sorts of women, I like a big woman as well as a slender one. The thing I notice is the way they carry themselves, like if a woman is confident or happy she has that bounce in her step. And they way thier eyes look is important, I like when they smile and speak to everyone. Body types, eh.. they are secondary to me, although nice legs and butt really do it for me, But the way a woman dresses and carries herself, yes that is what I really notice.||| Fortunately, guys dont' always prefer the skinny type. I bet you like to dress up nicely and do your hair. I think man likes someone who seems confident in her own skin.

Why do I have a fear of certain men?

Since I was school aged my mom had to request that i had all female teachers. And in middle school when she couldn't request that anymore, I would have panic attacks around certain men. ONLY certain ones, in their 30's or late 20's and it's really weird. They are usually teachers and doctors, and even to this day (I am 17 now) I had to switch guidance counselors because it was to uncomfortable with a man. And at first I will be attracted to them but then I will get uncomfortable. My mother even took me to a psychiatrist and she asked if I had ever been molested and I haven't, do you think something like that could have happened before I could have remembered, or what could have triggered it? How can I find out?|||Bearing in mind I'm not a psychiatrist, it sounds like an attraction thing to me, possibly sexual. Difficult to make any statement beyond that without further knowledge.

My suspicion is that you are very strongly attracted to them but are freaked out by it. This is most likely as a result of a number of factors such as Western social conditioning that tries to preclude females from sexual awareness, your own concern about the 'animal' within or just your own insecurity.

It is my experience that most women are unaware or even scared of the depths that lie within and only a few dare to unleash the 'monster' that lies buried.

Well it's a shot. I could be completely wrong but there you go.

Can men handle ...?

rejection... or do they take it as badly as women do ...???

Should ''hunters'' be used to rejection ..?

...and should men of/after a certain age be better equipped to handle this due to experience...?|||I can.. I just move on to the next piece of a@@|||my life is a story of rejection|||No they move on straight away

I left my husband after 5 years of marraige due to his violence, it took him all of 2 weeks to get with someone else

It took him all of a month to hit her|||Generally I think women handle rejection better than men. They have sort of a fragile ego...|||most men can't handle it, they are really sensitive to rejection|||Men can get their ego crushed and it can take them just as long as a woman to get over a bruised ego. Nothing wrong with it, we're all human.|||No,yes,yes.|||yes they should but rejection is bad for all no matter what age .x|||I think it works both ways, I mean men and women both have feelings.|||Rejection wouldn't bother me in the slightest, I'd just go out for a drink and start all over again. Never been rejected for a job so I couldn't tell you, doubt it do anything other than just piss me off|||It depends on what level the of rejection is... if it is just a superficial rejection from someone you hardly know then "hunters" (lmao-wtf does that mean?)...should be able to handle it.

A rejection from someone important to you is better handled by women, who I think are stronger emotionally in the long term...|||Men hate rejection, they love to feel like Gods.

I like to love them and leave them.

Is being a man a certain state of mind.. or does a boy have to reach a particular age to become one?

many young boys have had to become men before their time and

too many men do not deserve the mantle that goes with that title|||Being a man is kinda more biological, like, *cough* which sexual organs are present, bone structure, etc.. However, the term "being a man" in the sense of masculinity, is a construct of a given society. That's what I'd say. And that whole "be a man" is kinda a thing of the past. Where a much more multi-layered society now, and men don't have to do "manly" things and women don't have to do "girly" things. It's a whole new world, really. But, given that, in today's world, it would definitely be a state of mind. Or insecurity in ones sexuality.|||It's probably a combination of both or, in fact, neither. I must say, I've often wondered about this too. There are some males I just naturally refer to as boys, yet others as men ... and I don't really know why, although I do know it would not come easily to me to have to refer to them the other way round. Maybe it's something to do with conditioning, i.e. that someone's bearing fits the stereotype I've been conditioned to accept as either "boy" or "man". Possibly then, it's actually the "eye of the beholder", rather than the subject's state of mind or age, that accords them their status.

I'll be interested to see the other answers.|||I think you're a man when you know how to be brave but caring, solid, but soft, stern but loving. Being a man is not easy, as my grandpa always said, as an example, being strong and tough physically doesnt make you a man, being strong and tough mentally does.|||State of mind/maturity.|||definitely state of mind.....
